State of the Environment reports routinely examine government responses to environmental issues.

The ACT Government has a comprehensive legislative and policy framework to conserve, maintain and improve the environment and sustainability. This section discusses key ACT Government environmental and sustainability policies and programs in place during the 2019 State of the Environment reporting period (July 2015 to June 2019).
