Community leadership in sustainability and science

The value of community leadership in sustainability and citizen science initiatives is acknowledged and celebrated in a stand-alone chapter in the ACT State of the Environment Report 2019.

The ACT community undertakes a significant role in the monitoring and protection of biodiversity, natural resource management and sustainability actions and initiatives. These activities take place across the ACT region in public parks, on private land, in schools, homes and businesses.
